swimming schedule

Haven't been good about logging my swims, but today was my fourth or fifth. Let's see. The first morning, the Sunday I met Aa., the Monday A. was at class and I wasn't sure when it closed, the day with Allan, and today. Ok, that makes five. None have been real speed or endurance trials, though. I have just been finding my pace. I have always swum at least one km, but not necessarily longer. Today I did that 1km with only one break halfway through, and that was really just to look at the clock. The second 500m I did in 10:50, so I am doing 65s lengths. That could be better, but, like I said, I haven't been pushing for speed. I should look up some workouts so that I go with a purpose, but I think for my next one I will definitely do the 1 km without any stop at all, so I can try and really check my time over the distance (without having to worry about each lap's time). Then I can do some drills to improve my time over the km or start working on endurance (frankly, though, 1 km is the longest I ever expect to see in a race).

Today waas 16°C, and after I took my shower to get in I was shivering so hard I had no choice but to start swimming!
